I purchased a used Ram 1500 from Northland and unfortunately the post-sale experience has been extremely disappointing. During the test drive I pointed out an engine/exhaust ticking noise. I raised the same concern again immediately after purchasing the truck. I was initially told to stay vigilant with oil changes and that I could potentially trade out of it after building credit for six months. I was later told their technicians had observed the truck during a cold start during their Wisconsin inspection and found no discrepancy, and that any further diagnostics would be my responsibility. I subsequently took the truck to a Dodge dealership myself to have the noise evaluated. Fortunately, their technician believes the noise is exhaust-related rather than an internal engine problem. There were also basic delivery-preparation issues. The truck had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned inside, including personal paperwork from the previous owner being left in the vehicle, and the fuel that had been discussed at delivery was not taken care of. What bothers me most is the communication. I contacted management directly, explained the situation calmly, and gave them an opportunity to respond. I have still received no acknowledgement from management—not even a simple apology for the experience or an offer to address the smaller delivery issues. I actually really like the truck. My issue is with how the concerns after the sale were handled. Based on my experience, once the paperwork was signed, I did not feel like there was much interest in taking care of me as a customer.

I brought my 2024 silverado in for my 2nd oil change and they were quick and very helpful.

I was able to get my truck in for it's first oil change and tire rotation. I waited in the waiting area while it was being completed. It took less than hour for everything to be completed. When it was finished, the entire inspection report was gone over with me and the next oil change suggestion was provided. I have never been disappointed by Northland Chevrolet and their staff!!
